What Is It???
The day began like any other day. Fed all the dogs and
turned them out into the playpen so
I could go to the barn and start my chores out there.
At
come back to the house for a bite to eat. As I was pulling
into the front yard in the Gator,
I glanced into the playpen, fully expecting to see some really cute Newfie
faces.
What I saw completely took me by surprise and brought me to a dead stop.
(Actually, the
lamp post that lights my walkway brought me to a dead stop and I can tell you
now that not
only is it pretty - it’s also quite sturdy…stopped the Gator in its tracks.)
What was that ‘thing’
in the playpen with my Newfie babies?!? I’d never seen
anything like it, didn’t know if it was
friendly or what! As it stood there and stared at me with
its ponderous proboscis, I knew I had to
run and get the camera as no one would ever believe what was in my yard!
My GAWD…it had to be
the very rare, extremely elusive and never before seen…Newflephant!!!!
Oops! Wait a minute! It seems the "Brothers" have struck again!!!
"Awww,
Mom, it's just me...Rye. I was helping you clean the dryer vent!"
