SPIRIT

6 Yr., 15.1^1/2 Hands, Paint Mare

Spirit is an exceptional all-around mare who could be happy in a
number of disciplines.  She has a background in dressage and jumping,
and has schooled cross country.  However, she was started in western
pleasure, and I could see her making a return to a western
discipline.  She really loves to work, loves to learn, and loves to
jump.  She never refuses and has no issues with water. She is an
incredibly brave and confident mare.  She is as close to 'spookless' as
a horse can get and handles new places with aplomb.  Her ground
manners could not get any better, and she is equally well-behaved
under saddle.  She is sound and healthy, has good feet, and is an
extremely easy keeper.  She has a head full of common sense and is one
of the smartest horses I've ever known.  Spirit often trots up to you
in order to be caught, and will stay at the gate after you turn her
out.  Spirit does need more miles under saddle before I could call her
a finished horse.  I really, really love this mare, and have no
interest in placing her in anything other than the perfect home.
